Pwede. I believe the investigator of the case will resolve or determine the existence of probable cause based on the affidavit and evidence submitted by the complainant.

ako nun at makulong? ang kaso ko po
kasi ay less serious physical injuries.
maari bang magbase ang judge dun
sa injuries na nainflict ko para
mapababa yun ipapataw nya? i
punched a guy in the face which gave
him a bruise and a small cut in the
eyebrow lang po. i am currently
applying for a job abroad, i fear that
this case would affect my nbi record
when i get my clearance.

counter affidavit is your right, but that's on prosecutor's side pa lang.
kung sa arraignment naman at inamin mo, tapos na boxing. guilty ka na agad, kulong ka pa on the spot, may nbi record ka na din. lalu kang di makaka abroad.
kaya nga mas maiaing wag mong paabutin sa korte para hindi magka nbi record. to do that, settlement para hindi nya ituloy yung kaso.

maraming salamat po sa pagsagot. ayaw ko po kasing gumawa ng counter affidavit lahat po ng nakasaad sa salaysay nila ay totoo naman. pag po ba naconvict na ako may babayaran pa ako dun sa complainant at sa korte, kung meron man po magkano po kaya yun? ayaw po kasi makipagsettle nung family nila.
