I got remarried to a Dutch national last December 2010. He wants to adopt my children from my late husband. They are ages 16,14,13. What is the process we need to go through? How long does this usually take? My kids would also like to use their stepfather's surname. Is this of a different process?

if your are based outside the ph, i recommend you first try adoption under dutch law. if you are based here, then local adoption is possible
