right of way

good day to all. i am a married person. we purchased a lot in iloilo. the mother lot is owned by my wife's aunt and was subdivided to four owners. the lot we acquired is at the back of the main road, highway. there were houses already existing beside our lot. there was also an existing passage for them. a vehicle can pass thru that passage. now again they're asking for another one. our problem is that why they only ask now and not during the time that the lot was surveyed and subdivided.we are willing to give but we will have to redo again the whole title. and the question of who will shoulder all the expenses which will be used in the said transactions. we cannot build a house yet because of this. the people asking for this is somewhat harassing my wife, since i am not there most of the time due to my work as an OFW. i really need some insight regarding this before consulting a lawyer. i would really appreciate what help you can give me. thank you all.
