Hello,
My husband has a credit card debt of P50,000, at the time we could not afford to pay as he was retrenched in 2009. We both left the Philippines to work abroad and now we would like to return home.
We have not paid the credit card company and still owe the same amount plus interest and would like to repay the outstanding monies.
My questions are:
1) Will my husband be arrested on arrival at Manila airport under RA8484?
2) Should we approach the credit card company or find out the credit recovery agent (who we do not know)?
