Arresto Menor

I am in desperate need of legal advice. I am the granddaughter of a lady who passed away October of 2009. For 5 years my great aunt was hiding my grandmother from me and my mother. The issue is that my grandmother had a will that left everything to my mother. However my great aunt has now taken everything and didn't even tell us when my grandmother passed away. I am wondering if there is anything legally that my mother can do. We have possession of the will. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You should determine what properties your grandmother had which are registered in her name (bank accounts, real properties, vehicles, shares of stock). This can be the hardest part if you don't have access to her financial records. If these have been transferred to your great aunt, then try to find copies of the documents of transfer. The will may have listed these properties.

Your remedy is to have the will probated in court. You will need to consult with a lawyer for this so that he can review the will and other documents that you have.
