Good day!

First off I would have to admit several mistakes on my part ( di ako magmamalinis)
- we have standing 20 months unpaid rent
- my brother received final notices several times , demanding payment or else ejectment case will be filed
- my brother failed to appear sa barangay summon 3 times.
- we have been tenant for 10 years
I never knew na ganito kalala since nasa province ako and I thought na maayos ang pagbayad ng bahay.

What happened was nikandado daw ng LAndlord yung apartment.. LAhat ng gamit naandun. I am willing to stipulate and settle naman everything now na nalaman ko na ( napauwi ako tuloy ng maaga sa MAynila , after 2 years).

My question is , is it legal for them to deny my brother access? walang matutuluyan yung kapatid ko na iba kaya nag-aalala ako.

IS it safe on our part to re-open it?

Sa pagkakaalam ko yung kaso ay nasa baragay pa lang. Need to follow up pa. Need to read the contract na rin kaso nasa loob daw ng apartment.

Please give me advice. We admit pur fault and we are willing to remedy it.

Hope anybody could reply soon.

Thanks

we cannot blame the landlord for the drastic action because 20 months na pala ung unpaid rent. The best thing to do is to talk to the landlord and negotiate if you could pay a portion of rental in arears so he could open the apartment. Pwede rin magpa schedule kau ng dialogue with the barangay para malaman mo kung anung gustong mangyari ng landlord and kung pwede kau magkaroon ng compromise agreement

As per the my knowledge it totally depends upon landlord agreement so if possible then try to consult with expert they can give you better solution .
