Good Morning po Attorney, my mother had a lived in partner and they had my older sister, when my sister was almost a yr old they parted ways but will still see each other every now and then to have an intimate time together. My mother got pregnant again (ako na po yun) and because my grandmother had enough shame in the family they all decided to asked a guy who was willing to accept my mother even when she's pregnant with me if He want's to marry her , they got married and I was born having his family name and not of my biological father. When I was in my first grade in the province they also parted ways because my mother did not really loved him, We grow up with our mother and did not see that guy she married anymore. Because of our financial problems I was not able to finish my High School and just had a sari sari store till I met a guy who made me pregnant but we did not get married then when my daughter was a yr old something someone offered me marriage and i accepted it for the sake of my daughter as I want her to grow up with a father figure. We got married and I used the family name of my biological father in the papers, when my daughter was around 10 yrs old already he started hitting me and would sometimes rape me if i did not want to have sex with him but could not tell my family because of shame. I decided to run away from him and i met this british guy and he asked me if I want to marry him. Because i wanted to give my daughter a good future I sad yes and immediately went to NSO to get my birth certificate, i found out that I did not have one so i went back to the province where I was born and where I went to school to gather school records and baptismal cert so i can file for a late registration of my BC. I married the british guy and we are now living together. Is my marriage to the first guy valid since i did not used my surname that I been using while growing up and also in my baptismal and in my school records? is my passport valid? I used the surname in my passport as per my BC and school records. Please help me and thank you so much.
