Hello po! Need po ako advise kc po 10yrs na po ako hindi na promote sa job ko. I talked to my manager bakit hindi ako na promote e alam ko na nka lineup ako for promotion. Sabi nang manager ko dahilan daw na may narinig cya na balita na ako daw ay may plano mag resign at pupunta nang Japan. Ang sabi ko sa manager ko na hindi po yan totoo plano pa lng yan. Nag assume na po cya agad. Sabi nya nasa lista na daw ako na mga empleyado na hindi na mag tatagal sa company. Yan lng daw ang pinaka rason kung balit hindi man lng ako mapromote wala sila masabi sa performace sa trabaho ko.

Tyaga lang po.. darating din ang pangarap na promotion.. by the way 16 years n ko sa company di pa napopromote.. ha ha on the last 3 years perfect attendance with A- and B+ grade.. still waiting sa promotion.. iba talaga yung tinitingnan sa tinititigan..

Promotion is a management prerogative, iba ibang category ang tinitignan kasi iba ibang tao naka upo sa management.

Promotion is not also dependent on the years of service, sometimes i promote people who recently join the company than promoting others who have stayed on for years.... it depends on their contributions.

As maxwell said, mag tyaga ka lang at laging mag perform and don't show them that you are not interested anymore by telling them your future plans of leaving the company.

Judgment call ng management yun kung sino ang ipopromote nila, at kung bakit nila ipopromote. Length of service could be a factor, pero pwede din nilang i-ignore yun. Prerogative nila kung magpopromote man sila ng tao. https://www.alburovillanueva.com/management-prerogative-rights-employers
