I am a concerned Citizen and seeks clarification if an LGU can imposed 550,000 pesos as franchise fee, on a cockpit for 5 years eventhough we are already paying 18% as income tax to the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
If this is legal,where is the source of this ruling and pricing of 550,000 pesos as franchise fee?
Cockpits from my adjacent towns don't have this kind of franchise fee from their LGU.
