Arresto Menor

Hi atty. I was caught for shoplifting in 2014 and sent to jail for two months before bailing and while in jail was put to mental health for bipolar disorder for four months. Can I use that for defending my case in the future. I received a subpoena just recently and will be arraigned soon. Will I go back to jail if proven guilty? The amount of stolen items is 220 pesos only a perfume and handkerchief
