Good Day attys

Im having a problem right now on my son's passport.. i applied it last month of aug on a rush processing.. but still wla p rin ang passport,

Meron b akong pdeng isampang reklamo sknila?

Pls i need ur advice atty

write a complaint letter to the head of the passporting division or you can address it directly to the DFA Secretary. no guarantees though that it will be acted upon or how quickly.

i am not familiar with this passport issuance, it may be that there is a private entity which manages it. when i look it up on the net a BPO comes up with regard to passport application. (which i won't name here)

to facilitate your complaint, try to identify as close as possible who made the error. if it was the private company who made the mistake (and in my mind, it probably was) then address the letter to them with copy to the DFA consular services in Pasay.

if you really want to escalate, send a demand letter for damages to the private company and should they fail to pay, file a small claims case against the private entity. you won't need a lawyer; rules on sc.judiciary.gov.ph. good luck.

The DFA has a professional coterie of customer relations officers who are attending to the needs of Filipino passport applicants. Just dial 02-737-1000, and somebody will entertain your query or go to its official website to check the requirements for the issuance of passport or its renewal. Just give it a try.
N.B. I am not an apologist for DFA nor in any way connected with it. Exhaust first all available remedies before resorting to administrative and/or judicial intervention. To borrow the kind words of AttyLLL, Goodluck.
