Hello!
Yesterday i received a summon for collection of sum of money from the MTC in Quezon City and I live in region 6. It was an unpaid loan for the past 2 years due to I am paying also 2 credit card debts (which was recently cleared). I do not have enough finances now to pay the total amount of Php150K in cash. I do not have properties either. The MTC requires me to respond/answer it in 10 days. I am bound to leave the country next week to work. I am willing to pay but in installment basis.
I want to respond and as well as request for paying it in installment basis.
1. Do i need a lawyer to do this? or can i just have it notarized?
2. Will the bank be able file HDO? I did not receive any notice.
3. What will be the consequences if i do not answer/respond to the summon?
